Purdy has been made from a vintage Raku vase which is a beautiful turquoise green with vertical dark fluted lines.
 
This is a lovely example of Raku firing which is a traditional Japanese pottery technique known for it's unique but unpredictable results.
 
The vase is in perfect vintage condition without chips, cracks or repairs. It has been professionally wired as a table lamp to UK standards and fitted with quality brass fixings.
